Karaoke with a twist. No Teleprompter or songbook, you bring the song and we will provide the musicians. This is a free event, from 6 PM to 8 PM at 354 S. Kalamazoo Mall at Charters guitars. Come and play a song or two or just hang out and listen.

Live music at the shop tonight from 7 to 9 PM. Old-time country music is the theme, come to play, come to listen, you can even come to yodel. ( Thursday night music is a casual, themed music night. Open to all)

For sale: Just off the workbench, this Gibson LG1 ( 7594-8) 1957-59, is ready to make music again. All necessary repairs have been done including new bone nut and saddle, two minor crack repairs, and a fret polishing and setup. Neck is straight with room to adjust on the rod. Narrow frets, pickguard not shrinking/warping, finish checking, yellowing lacquer etc. all original parts except bridge pins and end pin. New owner will likely wish to replace tuners as they hold fine but turn a little unevenly. We can do this for parts and labor. Comes with brand new TKL arched top case. $3200

For sale: 1969 D-28 #255180. Indian rosewood. No cracks, good frets, and plenty of saddle height to adjust the action over time. All needed repairs have been done. Baggs Anthem SL pickups and original hard case. A very well preserved piece of American history. $3500 354 S Kalamazoo Mall.

For Sale: mid 80s made in Japan. Squire Bullet It’s a little smaller than a strat body, but still 25.5” scale and 7.5” radius. Excellent condition. Original ceramic pickups removed and replaced with handwound Kal-Tone set. New bone nut. Otherwise all original. Frets are not dented and instrument professionally set up of course. Includes original molded case. $850
