Disability Day MI
We are a group of young adults with Disabilities from Michigan. Thank you for your time and acceptance.
We want to create a Disability Awareness and Education (DA&E) Day holiday in Michigan to be celebrated annually on the third Friday in October. We want people to use this day to honor, celebrate, educate, and bring awareness to Disability and its history. Disability is more common than most people realize with 20% of Americans and 26% of American adults having a Disability, and 80% of Disabilities
