I’m honored to join the panel at the Refugee Film Festival, held from Saturday, October 12th to Sunday, 13th at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum. During this event, I will share my harrowing yet inspiring journey from Burma to the United States, while also bringing attention to the ongoing and often overlooked genocide against the Rohingya, as well as the past persecution and genocide that continue to shape our community's reality.

The discussion will delve into the harsh conditions within the refugee camps in Bangladesh, where over 1000000+ Rohingya live with daily struggles for basic human rights and recognition. This event offers a crucial platform to illuminate the resilience of my people, Rohingya and to amplify and be a voice for the voiceless -- the stories of those who have endured unthinkable hardship.

I encourage you to come with your questions about my experiences and the ongoing challenges faced by the Rohingya community. Your participation is vital in raising awareness and advocating for justice.

In addition, from November 6-8th, I will also speaking regarding the ongoing Rohingya genocide and my journey to US as a 12 years old on panel at Northern Michigan University .
