Another great Dad Cafe with the Fatherhood Network!

An excellent free resource

We're investing to expand access to childcare through the State’s Tri-Share cost-sharing program. The program splits costs three ways between the State, employer, and employee. Kalamazoo! There is a “Homeownership Pop Up Shop” happening on Saturday, June 24th at Kalamazoo's Youth for Christ Center on East Main St from 9am - 1pm.

The goal of this event is to attract up to 100 Kalamazoo community members interested in becoming home owners. We will pre-qualify as many people as possible for mortgages, on the spot. Everyone will receive a one on one homeownership consultation to fully understand their financial position and mortgage readiness.

This is a FREE, drop in style event with refreshments. Kick off is at 9am, but come any time.

-Mortgage lenders from local banks and credit unions on site for one on one consultations, up to and including on-site mortgage pre-qualifications.
-Local realtors available to speak with, representing affordable homes available now in our area.
-Local housing-related nonprofit organizations including KNHS, Community Homeworks, Habitat for Humanity, the City of Kalamazoo, and the Kalamazoo Eastside Neighborhood Association available to speak with about down payment assistance and other homeownership resources including education, certification, and more.
