Maker highlight!!! I met Jake through my knife making classes, he made a chef knife when he was here. Take a look at the sheaths he made for the two knives of his and also the cutting board, sheath and anvil stands he has made for me!! I am blown away by his talent! The sheath he made for me was constructed using wood shavings from 3 different species of wood and then casting them in resin before turning them into art!! I have included his business card is you’d like your own custom knife sheath, cutting board or any other custom wood project!!

I am looking for a space to lease in Kalamazoo or as close to Kalamazoo as possible! I’m looking for a 500-1500sqf space to lease possibly bigger depending on the price. I need access to a bathroom, and ceilings high enough for ventilation. A cement floor is a plus. Noise should not be an issue. On Saturday Sadah and Tanner came down from Ishpeming, which is about 7 1/2 hours away in the U.P. Just to make knives here!! I was honored to say the least! Both knives are beautiful and the couple did an amazing job on every step of their knives.

Check out these awesome knife stands! These are made by Matt, a local guy that took a class with me. After talking a little he came up with these and they will be for sale for $10! They hold just about any style of knife but work really well with the railroad spike knife.
