Have not been working on cars much lately. Other projects. Rental houses, cabin, boat dock, taking down a barn.
Only 2 new cars this year. Picked up a convertible 1998 Ford Mustang GT. For $850. Fixed some wiring issues, bought a cupped of wheels, new seat, new top, have about $1300 in in now. It’s been my everyday driver for a while now. The only other car I got was a 1964 rambler. Picked it up for $250. I want to make I rat rod out of it. The trans locked up on my 1993 black and silver dodge pick up. Need to do a nv2400 swap on it. Have most of the parts for the swap. Need time. Started replacing the engine in my green 1959 dodge. The 24v cummins had a cracked block. Got a 12v cummins for it. Got it put back in. Still need to finish putting the front of the truck back together and put the trans back in. Other projects I am working on. The orange 1989 Dodge magnum. Needs trans replaced and finish putting it back together from when I panted it. Also have 1989 Convertible Dakota apart for motor swap and paint.

Well it was supposed to be my parts truck. But I still needed more parts for my 1884 4 door crew cab. And needed to get something running soon. I put the motor back in and a different Get rag trans. Still have to work on wipers and a few other things I replaced the crank seal. The seal kit. I got had a seal ring I could not tell where it went. Was told it was not used. The cummins seal did not have the extra seal. The cummins seal also did not have the. Ring to set the Seal depth. I also rebuilt the vacuum pump. The diameter of the O-ring in the cummins kit was too small look at. Picks. What has everyone else done with the o ring being too small. I used the old o-ring. No. Leaks now. Still need at least 2 235/85/16 tires.

Got my 1990 GMC running the other day. I know I am not a chevy guy. But $800 for the truck and $350 for the cavalier. I got both. The GMC all it needed was the front end rebuilt, body is real straight. But clear coat pealing. Been setting for 4 or 5 years. Put a battery in it and it fired right up, shut the hood to puller her on the trailer and she died. Never started again, got her home, replaced fuel pump/sending unit, throttle position sensor, throttle body injector rebuild kit, radiator, altanator, plug wires, new tire, head light switch, distributor, new tierods, front end alignment, and then transmission got about $1700 in her. The cavalier was wrecked in front, pulled core support, new radiator, ac condensor and fan assembly, battery. Still needs a hood, might replace bumper and finder but seams to run good.
