Mental health matters, especially in the workplace.

At U Can Employ™ (UCE), we believe that supporting autism at work goes beyond inclusion by creating stronger, healthier environments for everyone.
Autistic employees often experience higher workplace stress due to unclear expectations, while many caregivers balance additional emotional and professional demands. Small, intentional changes - like structured communication and clear processes - can significantly reduce that strain.

Inclusive practices aren’t complex, but their impact is far-reaching for employees, families, and teams.

We invite you to learn more in our latest article. Visit the comment section below for the link, and explore NEXT for AUTISM’s Inside the Autistic Workforce report for additional insights.

Together, we can create workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

We’re proud to spotlight, who recently began a new role at Publix with support from the Employment Services team at Els for Autism®.

Since joining the program in August 2025, JR has worked hard to build his skills and confidence. He’s embraced this opportunity and is already making meaningful connections in the workplace.

When asked about his favorite part of the job, JR shared, “My favorite part is bagging because I get to interact with other people and ask them how their day is.”

Stories like JR’s highlight the value of autism inclusive hiring. When given the opportunity, individuals with autism bring dedication, strong interpersonal skills, and a positive impact to their teams.

We’re proud to support organizations that recognize this potential and help create opportunities where everyone can succeed.
