This is an example of a "crossing limb" that had been left unpruned for years. It had grown to the extent that it was applying extreme pressure on the neighboring trunk, causing it's growth to distort around the limb. As we removed the limb, the trunk relaxed some two inches back into its natural position! Fortunately, the bark on the trunk was intact, meaning it should make a full recovery now.

We provide a secure work platform that is much safer than using ladders or climbing on unstable trees. Additionally, our equipment allows us to prune palm trees without the use of harmful spikes or gaffs.

Before and after photos of a Queen palm a recent customer wanted to remove. We saw its potential, so we gave it a nice trim and encouraged them to take another look. They decided to keep it! Spike marks along the stem from 10 years ago were their main concern. Otherwise, it’s a really nice palm tree!

Here are some before-and-after photos from a recent large project. We reclaimed a nicely wooded area of a property by removing many invasive Brazilian Pepper and Acacia trees. Native shrubs like Cocoplum, Wax Myrtle, and Saw Palmetto were kept and promoted. Very satisfying to see how much more natural and open the space has become!

This tree issue is known as girdling, and it can harm a tree's vascular system and interfere with nutrient transport back to the roots. This was a nylon strap wrapped around the base of the tree, likely forgotten from when the tree was planted and staked. Growth of the tree made the strap extremely tight, luckily it was released in time before there was any permanent damage. Very satisfying to free this tree!
