Charitable Hours is a resource web site designed to inspire teens to find volunteer jobs based on in If they like what they are doing they will work harder.

Over the last decade, it has become a requirement for most students to complete community service hours before graduating. Some schools have relationships with a few local charities. Some charities come to schools and present their volunteer opportunities to the students. Mostly, it is up to the students and/or their parents to find those places that will qualify for community service hours. Chari

The Jupiter Medical Center Loggerhead Triathlon produced by the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce is one of the longest enduring triathlons, in the state of Florida, dating back to 1985. 🏊🏿‍♀️🚴🏻‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️
The Triathlon will be held on Saturday, August 4th beginning at 7:00am at Carlin Park in Jupiter, FL. The race course consists of a 3/8 mile ocean swim, 13 mile bike and flat 3.1 mile run.

Crossing for a Cure - A team of strong, dedicated believers paddle boarding 75 miles across the Gulf Stream from Bimini in the Bahamas to Florida. Raising awareness for cystic fibrosis and the power that the ocean has for those living with this terminal lung disease. Join them Father's Day Weekend, on June 16, 2018 at Lake Worth Pier to help out. Volunteers are needed to help set up, carry boards, cheer, and break down. https://www.crossingforacure.com

If you are at least 10 years old, love dogs and want to volunteer Big Dog Ranch Rescue is for you! Their new 33 acre, cage free campus is designed to rescue, rehabilitate and re home all kinds of dogs. 🐶

15.1 million kids are left unsupervised. 🙁
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County has 13 clubs that are open every day after school, when kids need them most. 😃 They provide a safe place for children to learn and grow.

Hello everyone! Future 6 is currently seeking volunteers to become a part of our For the Love of Surfing program for children with special needs. We are looking for individuals or groups who can commit to joining us for the duration of the program season, and people who can commit to singular or multiple dates. For the Love of Surfing is held on Saturday per month from April to September. We have opportunities for both our Boynton Beach and Stuart program dates. Volunteers do not have to have surfing experience, but is a plus. Volunteer Positions
20 - 30 Watermen / Mermaids: Experienced surfers and water people who will “push” participants into waves. At least one waterman per participant. Waterman will be divided equally and distributed across heats. Each waterman will take a 30 minute break between heats, unless specifically approved by beach marshal to continue with a successive heat.

40 – 60 Catchers: No surfing experienced needed. At least two catchers per participant. These individuals will either wade or stand on shore and receive the participant from the pusher. The catchers will also be divided equally and distributed across heats. Each catcher will take a 30 minute break between heats, unless specifically approved by beach marshal to continue with a successive heat.

2 – 3 Sign-in: Assist with volunteer and participant forms, releases and waivers. Will also provide names of participants and volunteers to program director and operation manager to build participant/volunteer teams for each heat.

1 – 2 Refreshment Aid: Assist with serving refreshments to participants and volunteers.
