Yesterday marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for four members of the Jupiter Police Department.
Officer Ivan Bates, Officer Michael Connors, Officer Zachary Kugler, and Officer Christopher Russo were officially sworn in and are now part of the team serving the Town of Jupiter.
We are proud to welcome them to our department and grateful for their commitment to public service. The future of Jupiter PD is bright, and we look forward to watching these officers grow in their careers and serve our community with pride.
Welcome to Jupiter PD. ๐

The Town of Jupiter and the Jupiter Police Department (JPD) are aware of the decision by the organizers of the Happy Beach Dancing events to eliminate lighting and end the weekly events at dusk during sea turtle nesting season. This is a positive step and represents further community compromise on this issue.
Although it is not the sole enforcement agency for all the areaโs beaches, habitats, and wildlife management, JPD took the lead in facilitating a workable solution among all parties involved. JPD has also been, and continues to, work diligently to enforce the laws and regulations currently in place, alongside its partner agencies, such as Palm Beach County (PBC) and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).

Residents and visitors may notice an increased law enforcement presence in the area, including police vehicles and training-related activity.
This is a planned training exercise, and there is no threat to the public.
Ongoing training helps ensure our officers remain prepared to respond to a variety of situations and continue providing the highest level of service to our community.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we conduct this important training.

โ We can confirm two things:
1. He doesn't know how to make bagels.
2. His name is definitely not Mike.
