Bishop Manuel de Jesús Rodríguez continues to invite high school youth and young adults ages 16-39 to join him on the diocesan pilgrimage to World Youth Day taking place August 1-10, 2027, in Seoul, South Korea. The deadline to register has been extended to June 30, 2026, at midnight.

A reminder...
Students entering grades PreK - 8 are required to complete summer reading, grammar and math assignments. Research has shown that it is important for children to read on a daily basis during the summer to maintain and improve skills worked on during the school year. Students can lose as much as one to two months of learning during the down time of summer. All young people experience learning losses when they do not engage in educational activities during the summer. Though summer vacation should be a time for leisure and doing those fun activities that only summer can bring, we encourage our students to read and exercise those skills learned in reading, grammar, and math in order to keep those skills fresh.

Please consider donating to the "Helping Hands for Cuba" campaign spearheaded by Bishop Manuel de Jesús Rodríguez to assist our sisters and brothers in Cuba, who are facing profound hardship at this time. Through the campaign “Helping Hands for Cuba,” Catholic Charities Palm Beach of the Diocese of Palm Beach is mobilizing to bring much-needed relief through both financial support and essential supplies. These donations will directly support the Diocese of Bayamo-Manzanillo and the Archdiocese of Santiago de Cuba.
We ask for your immediate assistance in sharing and supporting this effort. A special collection will take place on the weekends of May 23/24 and May 30/31 to help respond to these urgent needs. Additionally, designated parish drop-off locations will be available during the last week of May and the beginning of June for item donations.
