In recognition of World Lung Cancer Day, Dr. Michael Marsh joined Steven Graves on WPBF 25 News to discuss the importance of lung cancer screening, who may be at risk and how early detection can lead to better outcomes.
During the interview, Dr. Marsh also shared that lung cancer isn’t only associated with smoking. He discussed additional risk factors including age, inflammation and alcohol use, along with advances in screening, diagnosis and treatment that are helping improve outcomes for patients.
Raising awareness and encouraging conversations about screening are important steps in helping more people get diagnosed earlier, when treatment can be most effective.
Thank you, Steven, for helping share this important message with our community.

A few seconds of a social media stunt can lead to a lifetime of consequences.
Dangerous e-bike tricks are becoming increasingly popular online, but the injuries they can cause are anything but entertaining.
Dr. Michael Rizkalla, Medical Director of the Mastroianni Family Pediatric Emergency Department at Jupiter Medical Center, recently joined Steven Graves on WPBF 25 News to discuss the growing number of injuries linked to e-bike stunts and why wearing a helmet every ride is one of the best ways to protect yourself.
Whether it’s a quick ride through the neighborhood or an attempt to recreate a viral video, safety should always come first.
