In recognition of World Lung Cancer Day, Dr. Michael Marsh joined Steven Graves on WPBF 25 News to discuss the importance of lung cancer screening, who may be at risk and how early detection can lead to better outcomes.

During the interview, Dr. Marsh also shared that lung cancer isn’t only associated with smoking. He discussed additional risk factors including age, inflammation and alcohol use, along with advances in screening, diagnosis and treatment that are helping improve outcomes for patients.

Raising awareness and encouraging conversations about screening are important steps in helping more people get diagnosed earlier, when treatment can be most effective.

For five decades, the Jupiter Medical Center Auxiliary has made a lasting impact on our patients, team members and community through thousands of volunteer hours, fundraising efforts and unwavering support.

We were honored to celebrate this milestone alongside Auxiliary members, supporters and Town of Jupiter Mayor Jim Kuretski, who presented a proclamation recognizing the Auxiliary’s 50 years of service and the difference they continue to make every day.
