What a vessel. Had the pleasure of captaining a boat out of Portsmouth Rhode Island yesterday for a family of 8. In a short two hours we made it all of the way from the northern tip of Portsmouth all of the way to the Pell bridge. Super fun day.
DudeBro will be in Florida in a couple of weeks. The weather here is just to good to head south.

We had four scheduled trips yesterday onboard the amazing vessel Tabasco. This boat is owned and operated by Sea Newport. For all my south Florida friends this is such an insane place to take a tour. This history with gilded age mansions - military history - the sailing capital of the world - Jackie O - Jay Leno - and the list goes on and on and on. What a day on the water.

Lots more photos to come. I had the great privilege to work with Captain Curtis aboard his awesome 32 foot picnic boat. Sea Newport is an absolute must do if you have plan to visit Newport Rhode Island this year. If you are from Jupiter ask for captain brad to join the cruise. Would love to have some locals out and about up here in Newport.

During our stay, we found a fantastic dining establishment near our hotel in Port Lucaya, Sabor. After providing a small incentive to the chef, she skillfully prepared our fresh catch, treating us to a sumptuous feast. The meal was outstanding, with an abundance of flavors. Furthermore, the staff was able to partake in the meal as well, ensuring a delightful experience for all.

Following an unsuccessful attempt to cross on Thursday due to adverse weather, we successfully crossed to the Bahamas on Friday. The seas were calm, allowing us to maintain a speed of 40 miles per hour. We secured the services of a local guide, which is highly recommended for individuals of all experience levels. We will be departing for home on Sunday morning after a brief trip.

I spent the day fishing with friends who had family visiting from out of town. At the 200-foot mark outside of Jupiter, we discovered a dense w**d patch. With quicker reflexes, we would have landed a dozen fish. The Mahi were plentiful, aggressively biting the live bait. We caught four, with three being sizable enough to keep. We then battled a large Bonita on JYG Profishing, which, although not a keeper, put up a thrilling fight. As we were wrapping up, our last bait was bitten, and after a thirty-minute fight, the fish broke the line and escaped. Our gear from Fishing Headquarters proved to be reliable. Very solid day on the water with friends and family. Sailfish was caught and released as we watched it swim away. Two nice mahi and two nice blackfin. Dinner is currently marinating.
