On June 22, the Department of Homeland Security issued a National Terrorism Advisory Bulletin, warning that the U.S. remains in a heightened threat environment, including threats to critical infrastructure, private businesses, and digital assets.
📌 Here’s the reality:
Information security is business security.
Computers are just tools—your data is the real target.
To stay protected:
✅ Keep systems updated
✅ Use strong, unique passwords
✅ Monitor endpoints with 24x7 protection
✅ Segment your network
✅ Train employees to spot phishing and suspicious behavior
Strong cybersecurity requires both technology and people working together.
If you’re not already partnered with a capable IT & cybersecurity team, now is the time.

A throw back to our first intrusion detection system. This was on the disaster recovery shelf when we were hosting all of our servers on a T1 in our office in 2003. Back when disaster recovery was a bunch of backup disks and binders with instructions on how to rebuild the everything from scratch, unlike today when disaster recovery is just a mouse click to spin up a backup in the cloud. Ah the good ole days.
