“Anything you say will be used against you. Don’t say a word!”

I was completely silenced. I watched people within my own industry use this as a moment to make an example of me. I fell into debt. I lost my business. But slowly, the truth came out, and all those who spoke against me are realizing what really happened.

It was the darkest chapter of my life. I was made an example of, and I was fortunate enough to receive international attention. I’m lucky this case made it to the White House because living with a felony conviction was incredibly difficult.

Again, we are witnessing the power of the bankroll.

Our industry is so important here in Florida for so many reasons. And if you don’t agree, I surely hope you don’t support sport fishing or claim to be a conservative. Because sport fishing is the primary catalyst for the issues we are getting blamed for. And if you support government overreach, eliminating small businesses, and silencing an industry without scientific evidence, while priding yourself on being conservative, I have news for you: you’re not.
