There is nothing like a sunset from a kayak at Pine Glades Natural Area.

π
Friday night's sunset kayak at Pine Glades Natural Area was pure magic. π£
With plenty of water on the lake, we paddled further than ever β rustling through reeds, drifting past Great Blue Herons standing tall in the shallows, Ibis gliding overhead, Red-winged Blackbirds calling from the marsh edges, and alligators keeping their cool as the golden light faded across the water. π
There's something about watching the sun set over a wild Florida lake from a kayak that just resets everything. We couldn't have asked for a better evening out there. πΏ

π¦ Lobster mini season is coming up next week β here's what you need to know!
Florida's spiny lobster have no claws, but those long antennae more than make up for it! They shelter in coral reefs and rocky ledges by day and emerge at night to scavenge, playing a vital role in keeping our reef ecosystems balanced and healthy. πͺΈ
The two-day mini season (last Wednesday & Thursday of July) was created to give recreational hunters a special early window β but bag limits and size rules are strictly enforced to protect the population. Find out more at www.myfwc.com. Overharvesting hurts the reef, and a healthy reef means more lobsters for years to come. π
Get your gear ready, know the regulations, and get out there β just leave enough for the ocean! π€Ώ

π We came, we seined, and thenβ¦ the sky had other plans! βοΈ
Saturday's Seine & Dip program at Blowing Rocks Preserve brought 20 curious explorers β ages 4 and up β to the lagoon side for a morning of discovery. And even with a thunderstorm crashing the party early, our families made the most of every minute!
The highlight? Variegated sea urchins! π¦ These spiky little treasures made quite an impression before we had to call it on account of lightning.
Short and sweet? Maybe. Memorable? Absolutely. That's the magic of getting out in nature β even a quick peek under the surface reveals something amazing. We'll be back out there soon! βοΈ

Clear blue water. A stunning lighthouse overhead. And fish around every corner. πποΈ
Another unforgettable fishing adventure at Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area! The variety was incredible β Checkered Puffers puffing up their personalities, Yellowfin Mojarras flashing silver in the shallows, Lane Snappers, Sailor's Choice, and a gorgeous Porkfish that stole the spotlight. π‘π
Later, a spotted eagle ray and a manatee stopped by to hello! Days like this remind us why we love fishing in Jupiter. The water, the wildlife, the smiles β absolutely unbeatable. π£β¨
