Bedroom transformation - step by step The day I realised the only way I was going to have the bedroom I really wanted was if I did it myself… Because I seriously can’t afford to pay someone else. So many firsts attempts happened in this room. 1: Our first colour drench 2: Our first attempt at coving 3: The first time we panelling an entire room with chunky mouldings. (Dado rail) It really was the BEST DAY when we finished. So proud of us. And we love the space. We still need to add accessories but for now I’m just enjoying what we have. This is a really simple DIY you can do to give a room a little more character and I’ve saved all the details (including how to calculate the box sizes) to a story highlight! The molding is a 3/4” x 8ft lattice from Lowe’s (item #96377) The paint color is Sea Salt.
