Ehhh I wrote this many years ago but it popped back via FB memories today and I’m feeling stressed out about the world so I thought I’d reshare it. I truly believe that protest looks (and should look!) a lot of different ways on all kinds of people - it can look like marches but it can look like parenting and poems and food drives and drag shows and etc etc etc what matters is that we show up how we can when we can

AND that being said i also wanna beg you to take literally just two minutes to call your senators before January 26th and i m p l o r e them to say no / filibuster the Homeland Security appropriations bill until a certain department can be fully scraped and salted if you know what I mean.

It is easier to control the flood when we can plug the hole up top 🫶🏽
