Friends! We just recorded our debut EP as The Heists and we’re so thrilled to several never-played-live-before songs at the State Museum as a pre amuse bouche. (Fun fact, the museum was the festival’s original location!) We’re playing during First Friday, April 3rd from 5-6pm in the gorgeous atrium, with seating. One of these new songs was written with support from a 2025 Juneau History Grant from and researched in the amazing archives.

As part of our long-standing relationship with the Alaskan Bluegrass and Old-Time scene, we’re beyond excited to welcome even more Alaska-based artists to this year’s festival!

🎶 They’ll also close out the festival on Sunday
🎻 And you’ll catch them popping up in sessions all weekend long!

Thrilled to be heading to Montana this summer for the ! It’s been on our list for a long time and we love that the proceeds from the festival support the mission-driven work of the Red Ants Pants Foundation to increase women’s leadership, support working family farms and ranches, and enrich rural communities.
