This coming Saturday is The Juneau Disc Golf Tour! 72 drives in one day featuring 3 of Juneau's courses. 27 holes at Treadwell using 3 different layouts. 2nd round at UAS playing a game called Driver, Putter, Midrange. And a final round at Aant'iyeik playing Red Tees.

If you haven't played Driver, Putter, Midrange, it is game where you are playing as 3 different players on the same hole. You'll bring each of those 3 discs, and play from each one. Then after the hole you'll combine the scores from your discs. For example, if you have a birdie with your midrange, a par with your driver, and a bogey with your putter, you are even for that hole. Discs are categorized as follows:

Putters: 1-4 speed
Mid Ranges: 5/6 speed
Drivers: 6.5 speed and higher

Please show up well before the 850am players meeting at Hole 1 at Treadwell. We throw at 9am. Please give the TD plenty of time to check you in because there's always plenty to do last minute for staff. $30 cash at check in. See you there!

New found disc drop box at Aant’iyeik!

Thanks to John Bush and James Houck for their work to turn this surplus garbage can into a beautiful found disc receptacle.

Here’s how it will work- 1. Mark your discs with name and phone number. 2. Find a marked disc at Aant’iyeik. 3. Text the number to let the owner know you are leaving the disc in drop box or make a plan with them. 4. Owner shows up prior to JDGC leagues or events to retrieve their disc.

The Aant’iyeik gutter system served us to 20 years, but many discs aren’t finding their way home.
