The first of four opportunities for public testimony on the operating and mental health budgets start this afternoon in House Finance. Also, House Education will hold public testimony on a bill to raise the base student allocation this evening beginning at 5 p.m.

Two more chances for public testimony today on the budget. Testify from your local Legislative Information Office or call in to let Senate Finance members know what you'd like to see in this and next year's state budget.

The first round of budget public testimony in Senate Finance begins this morning. Rural western and northern Alaska is scheduled for this afternoon at 1:30 and remaining areas on Friday.

A reconsideration vote on the supplemental budget is on the calendar today in the House, along with three bills. Watch the House live starting at 10:30.
