The Port
The Port sells items that are exclusively made in Alaska- featuring mostly Juneau and Southeast makers. Our goal is to connect local makers with larger markets.
It is the only place in town to buy Barnacle’s kelp salsa and pickles, and is a hub for clothing and art made by Jessica Hanlehn of Frost + Fur. This is the one-stop-shop to buy locally made items in Juneau! The Port is a recycled shipping container that was converted into a storefront. It was built with wood from Douglas Island and from Icy Straits Lumber in Hoonah. We hope you’ll come down and experience the amazing goods made here, in Alaska!
