It may feel like I have fallen off the map, but I've been hunkered down for months in my secret ice cave working on something new. I'm happy to announce that Alaska Audio Guide is now available on Apple & Android! It is a GPS triggered series of tours for Juneau (soon the rest of southeast and other parts of Alaska). I've taken my love of exploring and taking people out to exciting new places and made it available for everyone! If you can help spread the word for anyone that may be visiting Juneau that would love to listen to stories and history as they walk or drive the most popular spots in Juneau!

Another awesome tour yesterday. Every once in a while I get to pose for one of my own pictures. I love how the light was streaming into this cave!

Ice palace! Yesterday I had a really fun group that got to explore some monster ice caves. There were some close calls with rocks attacking us at times, but totally worth it!

I had 2 groups in one day to explore some ice caves in Juneau yesterday! Everyone was amazing with the first set wanting to rappel down into this tube I had found. It was a new and exciting adventure. It ended up petering out quickly, but the entrance was pure blue!

The ice has all but disappeared up here in Juneau! Excited about spring and another awesome summer of exploring in Alaska's Capital city!

The entrance to a massive ice cave. At the bottom of this run I thought it might close off, but a short crawl led to one of the biggest caves I've been in. I had a lot of fun taking a father/son duo into one of the coolest places on earth.

Yesterday we explored a mammoth ice cave in Juneau! This is one that we were not able to access this past summer due to water levels, but the lake pushed enough water through to create a very long cave. Close to a mile long now, it has some tight squeezes mixed with some huge rooms.
Something of interest in this picture: the icicles that connect to the floor are crooked because the glacier is still moving a little bit every day. Truly fascinating to see!

Had a last minute tour today that went great. 7 miles of walking completely on ice makes for a great adventure!

We had an awesome tour yesterday where we explored this really amazing ice cave. The light streaming in through this 30+ foot long hole made the scene truly epic! We stayed down here for over an hour just enjoying the beauty of the scene.
