It’s all over my websites and in my wedding guide preaching about how important it is to be yourself and do what YOU want to do on your wedding day. If you want to run away and elope, do that. If you want to get married on a boat because you are passionate about the ocean and sea life, PLEASE do it. If you want to wear a cape, freaking DO that. Bring elements of things you love and are passionate about into your day. Run wild, dream your dreams and be as simple or as creative as you want to me. DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY.

Things to think about when picking your dress and deciding on a train:

If you decide to have a train, that baby is getting dirty. We live in the nations largest rainforest and she is wet. Trains are beautiful and can contribute to a stunning and dramatic photographic result but they can hinder your movements.  A train will require you to hold it with one hand, and you will likely have your flowers in the other hand. Unless you have a third hand or a tail (which I’ve always thought would be really handy), this doesn’t leave you a limb to cling onto your loved one. It can also make it difficult to move around. Think about your ceremony site, where we will be shooting and how you want that to feel. Stepping in and out of a helicopter, trekking across an ice field, walking across a soggy grass field, etc.

  

Lets rewind back to 2014 when these two crazies trusted some new photographer (me🙋🏻‍♀️) to shoot their elopement and let me help them plan an incredible day of island hopping to say “I do” at one of my favorite camp spots.

Thank you Carol and Justin for trusting some nutty local girl with your very important day . You guys were so open to my ideas and had an “up for anything” attitude. You sparked something in me that day that I still feel now🙌🏼

Who am I?

I am Kally DiMarzio (previously Flynn), photographer of . I am a mom of two toddlers and the wife to a hard working, grown up third toddler who loves me for being me. Mom and wife, my two favorite titles.

Here are some random facts about me in no particular order:
◦I was born and raised in Juneau, AK and have 3 sisters.
◦My honeymoon was over-landing with my husband and 2 dogs in an old Toyota camper from Alaska to the Guatemalan border and back. Check out to see what feels like a past life of how cool I used to be.
◦I have 10 years experience as a professional photographer, 10+ years in tourism businesses, and 20+ years in the service industry.
◦I have a potty mouth, but I am working on it.
◦I have traveled to 23 countries and have 35 more left that I still want to visit.
◦I own a laundromat that lives under one of Juneau’s favorite local bars in Auke Bay.
◦I am a bargain hunter extraordinaire and love thrifting.
◦My brain organizes thoughts in bullet points and I am a big time list maker.
◦I am a newcomer to weightlifting, and the obsession is growing quickly.
◦I can recite the majority of all Austin Powers movies but I assure you, I am a grown up.
◦My wine comes from a box and I use it to wash down copious amounts of chocolate that I buy in bulk at Costco. Husband can confirm.
◦I am a full on plant lady that knows very little about plants. .

Hi all! I’m Kally, the photographer behind Flynn Fotography. My dreams and Flynn Fotography had a baby and we named her Sea to Summit Events or if you’re the nickname type.

S2SE is an elopement and intimate wedding planning company. I offer all-inclusive packages geared towards adventurous, nature-loving folks. The ground work has been laid and I cannot wait for all the adventures that are soon to come.
