On average, 20 home candle fires are reported each day with being the peak day for candle fires. The good news is this is preventable! Stay safe by keeping candles at least 12 inches from anything that can burn & blowing them out when you leave the room or go to bed. An even safer option is to use flameless candles in your home instead. See more tips at the link below:

No explorers meeting this month. Have a merry Christmas and happy new year !!

Our first meeting to kick off the 2023-2024 year is tonight at 7:00pm. We ask that all parents please plan on attending to assist in filling out paperwork. BSA has raised dues to $50 this year. If have not had a chance to come by and are interested in becoming a firefighter and are between the ages of 14-20 stop in and say hi.

With wildfire season knocking on our door, last night explorers got the opportunity to prepare for wildfire season. Explorers learned different techniques to controlling a wildfire, tools off the trade, and fire line application. Great job by our explorers.

Reminder meeting tomorrow night at 7! Make sure that all dues are paid please. Also, curt will have information on a fundraiser for the post in January.

Explorers will be Tuesday at 7pm at station 1.

Dress warm as we will be outside for part of the night.

Remember dues are due Tuesday night.
