Welcome! You previously knew us as “Fulfilling the Mustang Dream”!

We have now expanded to our own facility, and invite you to follow along as we navigate our continued mustang adventure as well as building an equine facility to meet our needs and goals.

It’s funny how the little things can make you so happy. We reached out to a few local tree services a few weeks back to offer our facility as a free chip drop location(meaning we will take as much or as little as they have). We have a lot of mud control that needs to happen and the cost to have chips/hog fuel delivered was higher than we could justify. In 2 weeks we have received enough chips that I know we will be able to complete more areas than I thought possible this winter.

Said goodbye to our old lady Fancy last weekend. She’s been struggling to hold weight, lacking energy, off her food and has not been herself. After bloodwork, testing, and an ultrasound we found she has a closed pyometra and long term infection. Due to the limited options, her age(26) and the time of year the vet recommended euthanasia.
She will most definitely be missed, little lady was the go to for many people and was a favorite of those who spent time with her. Need a horse to hit the beach? Take a lesson? Put your kids on? Ride double? You name it, and she did it all while living up to her name. Everything she did was fancy. Rest in peace ol’ lady, thank you for all you did.

Sometimes we get horses who need a safe landing spot while on their way to finding their forever homes. This little lady is one of two who came in last weekend. From her brands we’ve been able to identify her as a QH cross from a ranch in Montana, around 9 years old. She’s currently unstarted. We will be getting her started, and making sure all her basics are well mastered in order to set her up for success. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am dead set on NO personal white horses, but man she’s tempting to keep.

Got Lonestar(previously Major) all moved and settled in today. Thain has decided to work with this guy so I can focus on getting Jack ready to start. Let the fun begin!

Due to unforeseen circumstances there will be no 2nd Teens and Oregon Competition this year. That being said I was given the opportunity to take on a Mustang from the first competition who wasn’t quite ready.

Tag #8821 known as “Major” will be coming home this week. Keep an eye out for updates!

Was letting the dogs out and checking on things from the porch this morning and heard a crack and crash. One of our large oak trees lost a substantial limb. Taking out a section of the arena fencing. Happy Saturday!

Update on Ash- Little lady is currently on a trial run for local equine therapy program. We are excited for her future, and grateful to have been part of the journey. These little Mustangs are so versatile and she is a true testament to that.
