Fantastic Friday at the National Biplane Fly In. 21 aircraft flew out to lunch at Prairie Cottage Airport, 8KS8. Absolutely beautiful day and the same forecast for tomorrow. Saddle up, come get Chris Cakes pancakes and spend the day with Biplane lovers at the Grand Finale National Biplane Fly In, Freeman Field, 3JC, Junction City, Kansas.

Everyone is working hard getting things ready for the Grand Finale of the National Biplane Fly In. The grass will be mowed and the field will be ready to welcome Biplanes and all other types of aircraft from across the country to Freeman Field, 3JC, Junction City, Kansas this coming weekend. Kick the tires, light the fires and plan to be at the Grand Finale National Biplane Fly In.

Flint Hills EAA Chapter 1364 Sharing our love of aviation with Junction City, KS and the surrounding area. Our chapter is open to anyone interested in aviation, whether you are a pilot or not. The free Youth Aviation program is held every second Saturday of the month. Come see us!

Thanks to all the great pilots who flew aircraft of all types into the National Biplane Fly In. We had a wonderful time hosting and hope you had a wonderful time while you were here. The record breaking public attendance on Saturday introduced people to the world of general aviation and emphasized the importance of their home town airport.
Special thanks go out to the volunteers that put in all the hard work and kept everyone safe. Thanks also to the attendees that bought t-shirts and supported the fly in. Every penny earned goes to support our Wing Nuts Kids aviation education program for middle and high school age students.

Only 17 days till the 2018 National Biplane Fly In. Time to preflight and make your plans.

When you support the National Biplane Fly In you support the Wing Nuts Kids youth aviation education program. The new program starts this Saturday, September 16th.

Flint Hills EAA Chapter 1364 has flown 26 kids in the EAA Young Eagle Program who signed up at the National Biplane Fly In. Our thanks to the volunteer EAA Pilots that made this possible for the kids.

What an amazing time was had with a great group of pilots! The 2017 National Biplane Fly In is wrapped up and we will follow with picture postings. Thanks to everyone who participated and made it a fantastic weekend.
