The TLC Adult Center is excited about our newest program, "Sipping with Purpose." We will be selling homemade lemonade at the preschool to start our program!

The mission of Sipping with Purpose is to empower adults of all abilities to reach their full potential by providing job training and work skills while enhancing social participation in their communities. The program will allow over 20 participants to participate in shopping, preparation, selling, and cleanup. We will alternate roles and job tasks throughout the program so everyone can participate and learn the many different roles in employment.

All funds from lemonade purchases will go towards the Adults' activity fund to provide more funding for new activities and opportunities for participants!

This week the adults earned $255.00 from their activity fund!

Congratulations to Hannah Logan, one of our Speech-Language Pathologists, on completing advance lactation education through the Healthy Children's Project! ❤️🎉

Hannah has a special interest in infant feeding and supporting families navigating early feeding challenges, including breastfeeding-related feeding concerns, bottle feeding difficulties, and pediatric feeding/swallowing needs.

Breastfeeding challenges can happen for many reasons, and we're excited to continue expanding the support we can offer families in our community. Great job, Hannah! ❤️
