Fund-raising efforts are under way to develop the American Red Wolf Conservation & Research Center at Craighead Forrest Park in Jonesboro, Ark.
Based in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at Arkansas State University, we are a community group supporting and promoting conservation of the critically endangered American Red Wolf (Canis rufus). Red Wolves for Red Wolves is an Arkansas State University organization dedicated to conservation of the critically endangered American Red Wolf, which is native to Arkansas and the southeastern United States.

We may have gotten stormed out at Wolf Fest 2025, but we still had fun at the Saint Louis Zoo and the Endangered Wolf Center learning about conservation strategies for many endangered species, including our beloved mascot.

Congresswoman Valerie Foushee (NC-04) and Congressman Greg Murphy (NC-03) introduced a bipartisan resolution which expresses support for continued red wolf repopulation and recovery efforts. The resolution calls on the continued approval of federal programs and initiatives, including wildlife corridors, to help protect the native red wolf population in North Carolina.
