City Seeks Public Input for 10-year Parks and Rec Plan

The City of Jonesboro is seeking input for its Parks and Recreation Master Plan, and all Jonesboro residents are invited to participate.
Mayor Harold Copenhaver said this plan will define the direction, development and delivery of City parks and recreation services over the next 10 years. This plan will help ensure that we are reaching the needs of today’s residents while continuing to grow and broaden our parks and recreation services. This study can show how we assess improvements, resources and priorities for the future while evaluating potential new recreational amenities, programs and services.
The only way to accomplish these goals is with resident input. Go online to Jonesboro.org, find the Parks and Recreation page, and click on the link “Parks and Recreation Master Plan.” You will find a link to the survey and an interactive map that will allow you to pinpoint the amenities you want in our existing parks.

Although we don't have our trailer on location at this time we are still catering. 😋

Hey folks. We unfortunately have a leaky💧 pipe in the food trailer after the two weeks of extremely cold temps. We hope to have it repaired Saturday. We will post on our fb page when we are able to open up, so check back often. You can still order delicious whole butts and racks of ribs. We will deliver them to you. Bare with us, operating a food truck and regulating temperatures of the smoker in such extreme weather conditions can be a challenge. But we do it so that you don't have to. Thank goodness we don't usually have such cold temps for very long periods of time. Stay warm. We will see you soon at Ruby's Barbecue!

Call, text or message us at least 24 hrs ahead of time for orders of whole butts and racks of ribs. This ain't fast food, lol. 😂 It takes hours to smoke it to perfection.

We have big plans for the new year. We want to start delivering lunches 🚚, especially to businesses where you have short lunch breaks. This will keep you from having to get out in the cold winter weather by having a hot delicious meal delivered to you. We will be adding daily specials and sides such as chili, vegetable soup 🍲, beans and cornbread. All of these go great with a bbq sandwich or rib plate or alone as a light meal. Let us know what you like.

Keep in mind that we also cater meals ANYwhere and EVERYwhere for meetings small or large, board meetings, small group meetings, family gatherings, poker night🃏, bunko🎲, deer camp, sporting events, family Sunday dinners, showers, weddings🔔, rehearsal dinners, New Year's Eve parties🎉🎊...pretty much any occasion that has hungry people. 😉

Marked Tree and surrounding area: Ruby's Barbecue is open at Bill's Cost Plus supermarket in Marked Tree! The wind is blowing so hard that we had to lower the awning on our trailer. Please come to the window at the end of the trailer for service.
Today's pulled pork is the best I think I've ever eaten...and I eat pulled pork very often. It's always delicious but today it is perfect. 😉
We will be open Wednesday thru Sat 11:00 to 7:00 and Sunday 11:00 to 5:00. See you there!

Great News!: We have moved the Ruby's Barbecue trailer to Marked Tree. We are in the Bill's Cost Plus parking lot. ☺ We are getting set up and plan to be open this Saturday, Dec 9th at 11:00 a.m. Come see us for delicious pulled pork sandwiches, homemade fries, grilled hamburgers, loaded fries, bbq nachos, and much more.

We would like to say a very special "THANK YOU" to our Jonesboro customers. ❤ We loved being at the Hilltop Bill's location and plan to return in the Spring. We will also be attending more community festivals and events in 2018.

We will continue to serve Jonesboro customers by delivering whole or chopped butts, racks of ribs and family packs. Remember, we will smoke Boston butts, ribs, hams and turkeys for Christmas. We hope you'll call us for any of your catering needs.

We had just a little wind damage. Thankfully there was no damage to the smoker or the food trailer.

Sorry folks, but we had to close early today. The wind is dangerous and could potentially damage the awning on our trailer. We are doing a lot of catering this time of year, even if the weather isn't suitable for opening the food trailer. We will cook for any event, large or small.
