Strong communities and a strong National Guard go hand in hand.
It was an honor to welcome business, education, and community leaders to the Clinton Readiness Center for a closer look at the Soldiers, mission, and impact of the Iowa National Guard.
Events like this are about more than sharing information they're about building relationships with the communities we serve every day.
Attendees included Col. Charles Lampe, recently appointed as the next Deputy Adjutant General-Army for the Iowa National Guard, alongside community leaders committed to strengthening the connection between the Guard and the citizens it serves.
By creating meaningful connections and fostering open dialogue, we strengthen partnerships, increase understanding, and reinforce the bond between our service members and the citizens they support.
If you would like to learn more about the Clinton Readiness Center and its Soldiers, please contact Staff Sgt. Joshua Conder at (563) 777-0171

๐บ๐ธ Welcome Home! ๐บ๐ธ
The final five Iowa Army National Guard Soldiers deployed to the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility have officially returned to the United States.
Assigned to Detachment 6, 2nd Battalion, 641st Aviation Regiment (Operational Support Airlift Command), these Soldiers supported Operation Spartan Shield and played an important role in advancing regional security objectives while serving overseas.
Their return marks a significant milestone as all Iowa Army National Guard Soldiers who deployed during this deployment cycle have now safely returned home.
โWe are incredibly proud of these Soldiers and all those who answered the call to serve. Their professionalism, adaptability, and dedication in an ever-changing operational environment reflect the very best of the Iowa National Guard.โ - Maj. Gen. Osborn
Welcome home, and thank you for your service. Iowa is proud of you.
