This guy was screaming for a makeover! A solid wood MCM Basset dresser, got a much-needed cover-up

Hi everyone! Long time no see 😝. Well I am back with another piece. Cosmetically, It's not what I imagined but structurally it's exactly as I pictured. I made it out of three antique dresser drawers, scrap wood and some scrap molding. The back is rusty, vintage scalloped wire fence that I cut to fit. Originally it was going to be turquoise with either stenciling or decoupage. In the end, this is how it turned out. I absolutely love how it came out. Check out the Before and after.... Then enjoy this sun we've got here in Rhode Island. I haven't seen this amount of sun, in a week 🥰

Sorry i haven't been around with project updates. An old ish arm injury has been acting up... I do have a bunch of Before and afters in the works. I will post as soon as I'm able to work again. In the meantime, here are some pictures to enjoy after moving my booth around a while back !Love Amy

Some of you may have seen the before and after of this vanity turned desk, but this is the Before, after and after makeover 😆 I originally painted it pink with a gray wash top, because I planned to redecorate in pastels- didn't happen! I decided to give this girl, a new look. I went with a meadow green, sanded and re stained the top in a really nice contrasting color then reupholstered the chair seat, with vintage fabric. I really love the new look. It's not a spectacular makeover but , what do you think?

My cousin, Mandy, has just beat non-Hodgkin's lymphoma! We are so close, she might as well be my sister 💞 She is one of the strongest people I know and is in full remission.
To commemorate the biggest win of her life, she and her husband are holding a co****le tournament today. They are raising money for St. Jude's cancer research. To help with their fundraising efforts, I made her a raffle basket using reclaimed wood to make a rustic crate and some other goodies. Oakleaf Campground donated $100 gift certificate that she put with my basket
