SmartHub is receiving a system update tonight. Beginning tomorrow, please update your app to the latest version before making payments through SmartHub.

Unexpected power outages can happen at any time, especially during severe weather and unplanned outages. When you enable text alerts in SmartHub, you can receive important notifications and updates directly to your mobile phone.

•Using your phone or computer, log into the SmartHub app or online portal. Select "Settings", then choose"Contact Methods" from the drop-down menu.
•Click the "Add Phone" button and enter your mobile phone information. Once your number has been added, make sure the Status column shows "Enrolled" to confirm you are signed up for text alerts.

URGENT SCAM ALERT - Be aware of scams!

BrightRidge has received reports regarding scammers pretending to be a utility customer service representative, calling and demanding payment for their electric services. Even if the scammer is threatening to shut off your electric and could also know your balance details, this is still a scam.

Please remember:
BrightRidge will NEVER call and pressure you to make an immediate payment with threats over the phone. We do not accept any type of payment over the phone unless a customer calls into the automated phone system. ALWAYS verify your account status through the SmartHub app or online, even if you are threatened with disconnection during the call. If you are unsure about a call or message, contact BrightRidge directly at (423) 952-5000 before sharing any information, or visit online at brightridge.com

The drive-through kiosk payment will be closed on Saturday, June 13th, Sunday, June 14th, and Sunday, June 21st due to parking lot repairs. You can make payments online through your SmartHub account or through the IVR over the phone by calling (423) 952-5000.

**UPDATE**
The surrounding residential and commercial businesses on Highway 11E from McCarthy Church Road to Oakland Road will experience an outage for approximately 30 minutes to isolate the damaged pole to safely make repairs beginning at 5:40pm. Once the damaged pole and power lines are repaired, a second outage will occur on Highway 11E to restore power to the Industrial Park.

Due to a vehicle accident near Precision Boulevard and Hwy 11E, emergency repairs will need to be made to a utility pole, resulting in a power outage for customers in the industrial park area.

Our crews are responding, and the estimated restoration time is currently 4–6 hours. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to safely restore power as quickly as possible.
