Zack Schoettes : Tri Cities Repair Program Coordinator
Laura Kelly : Assistant Director of Ministries
Caroline Nowak : Tri Cities Repair Operations Coordinator
Noah Gaylor : Tri Cities Repair Fellow
Kortney Bodge : Hiring Program Manager
Zack, Caroline and Noah have been out in the field throughout this past year with the Tri Cities Program working on site to complete repairs and assist volunteers. They are excited to have Laura and Kortney on board for the summer to accomplish grant funded repairs in the absence of our normal summer volunteer program!!
In addition to working in Johnson City this week, the Tri Cities Team was able to assist out in Johnson County, TN replacing windows on a home that was previously worked on by our 2019 Johnson County Summer Staff.
We are thankful to be able to serve a large portion of Eastern Tennessee through this year round local program!

Look at how beautiful this porch turned out!!
We were able to accomplish this repair with Johnson City CDBG funding and are grateful to have received additional funds through the Carol M. Peterson Housing Fund that will allow us to install a new tin roof and ramp off the front of the home later in the summer.

Greetings from the Tri Cities!
It is summer once again, and our staff is excited to be repairing homes here in Eastern Tennessee. This summer, however, will be different than ever before. Due to state and federal recommendations in response to COVID-19, ASP will not be hosting volunteers this summer.
While we are happy to be able to complete repairs this summer, these restrictions will limit the number and type of homes we will reach in the area in 2020. We will be working with our staff and subcontractors to complete these repairs while maintaining safety and sanitation throughout every step of our process.
We thank you for your patience as we adapt to these new operating procedures.
We hope you will follow along on this page to see regular updates on the projects from this region. I’ll be posting weekly updates regularly about the center, staff and projects, so come along for the journey, we can’t wait to get started!
