🦁 MEET OUR STAFF | MRS. LEAH BAH

We are excited to introduce Mrs. Leah Bah, our 9th Grade Homeroom Teacher for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year at Turning Point Christian Academy!

Mrs. Bah brings nearly a decade of teaching experience from both the United States and South Korea, where she has taught and led students across a wide range of ages and backgrounds. From early childhood education to middle and high school learners, she has developed curriculum, mentored students, and helped create engaging classrooms that encourage both academic success and personal growth.

Mrs. Bah holds a degree in Behavioral Science with a concentration in Psychology, giving her a unique understanding of how students learn, develop, and thrive.

After serving as a Kindergarten teacher at TPCA, Mrs. Bah is excited to step into a new role as our school’s inaugural 9th Grade Homeroom Teacher. Above all, she is passionate about Jesus Christ and believes that education is an opportunity to disciple, encourage, and equip the next generation.

Her goal is to help students grow not only in knowledge, but also in character, confidence, and faith in Jesus as they prepare for the future.

🦁 MEET OUR STAFF | MRS. KYLA KINSTLE

We are excited to introduce Mrs. Kyla Kinstle, our 7th and 8th Grade Homeroom teacher for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year at Turning Point Christian Academy!

Mrs. Kinstle is excited to begin her second year of teaching at TPCA. Before entering education, she worked as a real estate agent for five years and was blessed to spend several years as a stay-at-home mom raising her three children.

After much prayer, Mrs. Kinstle felt called to transition into teaching and has loved the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of her students. She looks forward to another wonderful year of learning, growth, and building meaningful relationships with students and families.

We are grateful to have Mrs. Kinstle as a part of our TPCA family as she helps students grow academically, develop strong character, and deepen their faith.

🦁 MEET OUR STAFF | MRS. JESSICA MARTIN

We are excited to introduce Mrs. Jessica Martin, our 6th Grade Homeroom teacher for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year at Turning Point Christian Academy!

Mrs. Martin earned her degree in Biology from Coastal Carolina University. She spent many years supporting her husband’s military career while raising their family. After spending time substitute teaching, she discovered a passion for education and felt God leading her into the classroom.

Mrs. Martin is grateful for the opportunity to serve at TPCA and looks forward to helping students learn, grow, and thrive throughout the school year. Her goal is to ensure that every child feels seen, safe, and valued while growing both academically and spiritually.

We are thankful to have Mrs. Martin as a part of our TPCA family and know that she will make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students.

🦁 MEET OUR STAFF | MRS. KEARRA MCBEE

We are excited to introduce Mrs. Kearra McBee, our 5th Grade teacher for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year at Turning Point Christian Academy!

Mrs. McBee holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and is only one class away from completing her Master’s Degree. She is entering her second year teaching fifth grade at TPCA and brings an additional three years of experience serving students in long-term teaching positions, including special education and gifted enrichment programs.

In addition to her classroom experience, Mrs. McBee has worked with children through community outreach and youth missionary trips. She is passionate about child development and helping each student grow in confidence, character, and academic success.

Through a Christ-centered approach, Mrs. McBee strives to provide the support, encouragement, and guidance that students need to thrive and become all that God created them to be. She considers it a privilege to partner with families as students learn, grow, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

🦁 MEET OUR STAFF | MRS. ASHLEY STADELMAN

We are excited to introduce Mrs. Ashley Stadelman, our 3rd Grade teacher for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year at Turning Point Christian Academy!

Mrs. Stadelman is an Army veteran who brings a strong background in service, leadership, and education to the classroom. She holds both an Associate’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree and has gained valuable experience through substitute teaching, providing individualized instruction in a home-based learning setting, serving as a school librarian, and most recently working as a long-term substitute teacher for our second- and third-grade students.

Because she has already built meaningful relationships with many of our students and families, we are grateful that Mrs. Stadelman will continue her journey at TPCA as our third-grade teacher.

Mrs. Stadelman is passionate about creating a nurturing, Christ-centered learning environment where students can grow academically, develop strong character, and deepen their relationship with Christ. She looks forward to partnering with families as she helps her students learn, grow, and thrive in both faith and knowledge.

🦁 MEET OUR STAFF | MRS. SALLY MCGREGOR

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Sally McGregor to the Turning Point Christian Academy family as our 2nd Grade teacher for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year!

Although this will be Mrs. McGregor’s first year at TPCA, she brings 11 years of experience in education to her classroom. She spent seven years at James Bacon Elementary, teaching both second grade and ESOL, and most recently taught third grade for four years at Screven Elementary School. During the 2024–2025 school year, she was honored as Screven Elementary School’s Teacher of the Year.

Mrs. McGregor holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and has endorsements in ESOL and Dyslexia. She has also received Orton-Gillingham training, which equips her to provide additional support as students develop strong literacy skills and build a foundation for future academic success.

We are grateful that Mrs. McGregor will be investing in the lives of our students and helping us nurture and educate the whole child—heart, mind, body, and soul.

🦁 MEET OUR STAFF | MRS. SOPHIA HOWDESHELL

We are excited to welcome back Mrs. Sophia Howdeshell as our First Grade teacher at TPCA! This will be Mrs. Howdeshell’s second year in the classroom, and she brings a unique blend of experience, dedication, and passion for helping young learners thrive.

Mrs. Howdeshell earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University. Before entering the field of education, she served in the United States Army, worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional, and became a Certified Medical Assistant. These diverse experiences have helped shape her caring, disciplined, and student-focused approach to teaching.

In addition to her professional background, Mrs. Howdeshell has participated in several mission trips where she taught children English and shared the love of Jesus Christ. Her heart for serving others and investing in young lives is evident both inside and outside the classroom.

Mrs. Howdeshell looks forward to coming to school each day and considers it a privilege to be part of her students’ academic growth and success. She is excited to partner with families as she helps her first graders learn, grow, and build a strong foundation for the future.

Mrs. Mary brings more than 34 years of experience in education to TPCA. Most recently, she served for 15 years with the Wayne County Board of Education after previously spending 19 years with the University of Georgia.
