No way could I neglect to celebrate all of the Dads in the world on such a groovy day... Happy Father's Day to each of you! 🥰 I salute you for all of the ways you KEEP SHOWING UP!

If only this were a requirement to speak on matters of EDUCATION...

Five days.

That's all.

Walk in.

Manage thirty students with a range of needs, abilities, trauma histories, and home circumstances. Do the job on the salary. Navigate the curriculum requirements, the behavioral interventions, the parent communications, the administrative tasks, and the emotional labor—all before 3pm. Then go home and plan for tomorrow.

The challenge is not rhetorical. It is an invitation to understand. Every education policy decision should be made by people who have spent meaningful time in the rooms those policies affect. Not a photo op visit. Not an observation from the doorway. But actual time in the trenches—grading, planning, comforting, redirecting, trying, adjusting, and trying again.

Teacher voices deserve to be at the center of every conversation about education. Would you take the challenge? 🏫
