JES STEAM Team (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Students we will working in teams to explore a problem that will be presented to them.
STEAM Team is a club that encourages students to be problem-solvers and critical thinkers using hands-on activities that are both fun and challenging. STEAM Team is for students at all levels, in 4th and 5th grades, the goal is to increase the critical thinking skills of each student through these hands-on projects.
We do plan on having STEAM Team this year for 4th and 5th grades. There is no start date as of yet, but we will post when we know more.
4th Grade STEAM Team members: I have posted some activities that you can complete while we are out of school. These are just some ideas and are not required at all.
Don't forget that tomorrow is our STEAM Team (4th grade) fundraiser at Cafe Euro.
The next 4th Grade STEAM Team meeting will be February 5th.

These students solved the mystery of who stole Santa's sleigh. They applied a variety of math skills and worked cooperatively to get the job done.
Due to the GaETC Conference, I will be attending on Wednesday - Friday, there will NOT be a 4th Grade STEAM Team meeting this week.
