IT'S COMMON SENSE;
Not in wetlands,
not over an aquifer. No coal ash at all
at the Broadhurst Landfill. Coal ash in Wayne County Georgia? Absolutely Not.

Wayne County’s Broadhurst Environmental Landfill is located in a very wet part of Georgia with a high water table and porous coastal sands. The landfill sits atop the Floridan Aquifer -- that's the water supply for eastern and southern Georgia and the northern one-third of Florida. Wetlands would be destroyed to accommodate a railspur at the landfill.
