Yesterday, we proudly honored our MLK Parade Grand Marshals, Sherna Spearman Lott and Mr. Clifford Davis, two outstanding leaders whose lives reflect service, dedication, and a deep commitment to community.
Sherna Spearman Lott is a devoted educator who has invested more than 25 years in the elementary classroom, shaping young minds and strengthening our community through education. Her lifelong commitment to children and learning has created lasting opportunities for generations of students.
Mr. Clifford Davis is a retired state officer and currently serves as a deputy in Glynn County. He exemplifies servant leadership through his role as a deacon at the historic Bennett Union Baptist Church and as Chairman of the Jesup Housing Authority/Wayne Housing Partners Board of Directors, where he works to ensure stability, dignity, and opportunity for community members.
Together, Sherna Spearman Lott and Clifford Davis have made a meaningful and lasting impact, enhancing our community through leadership, service, and dedication to others.
