Today, we’re remembering and missing our beloved Beit Ruth founder and visionary, Susan Ashner, that much more, on her birthday. Each day at Beit Ruth, Susan’s belief that every life can be rebuilt guides our girls and young women to futures of dignity, possibility, and the strength of knowing they are not alone – we are with them. On Susan’s birthday and every day, we are not only keeping Susan’s legacy, we are building on it. Susan’s enduring light shines bright. 🌺 💗

Beit Ruth Sports Day 2026 was epic! Competition between the houses, lots of fun, good sportsmanship, and a pampering breakfast. Empowering and uplifting on so many levels!

As Shavuot approaches, we draw special inspiration from our Biblical namesake, Ruth — whose story we read on this holiday. Ruth's courage and determination to embrace a new path and build a new life, are reflected every day at Beit Ruth, where our girls and young women create a future forged in connection with one another, rooted in dignity, and filled with meaning. WHAT A NIGHT at the Beit Ruth Gala, celebrating extraordinary honorees, Anya Gross and Stephanie Wilf Kahn, and hearing from our inspiring Beit Ruth alumnae and leaders.

Thanks to the outpouring of generosity and love, we surpassed our Gala fundraising goal to continue rising to this moment when Beit Ruth's critical care, life and job skills, quality education, and hope are so urgently and increasingly needed.

Yom HaAtzmaut! Israel's Independence Day brings us celebration and pride at Beit Ruth.

Today is Yom HaZikaron, Israel’s Memorial Day. At Beit Ruth, we honored those we have lost in the line of duty or to terrorism with special remembrances of them, by cooking their favorite foods, and by supporting each other through this emotional day.
