We're back — and our home office is full of happy tubers!
We just got back from vacation and our to-do list is... a lot.
First on the agenda: stare at the hundreds of dahlia tubers taking over our home office and try not to feel overwhelmed. 🙃
Michigan weather has us waiting until mid-May to get them in the ground — but in the meantime, we have a LOT to share this season!
Anyone else's home office become a catch all for the randomness of life?

Happy Easter 💕
Our sermon today mentioned “just because it appears dead, doesn’t mean it won’t become something beautiful”
Clearly it’s the Easter message talking about the resurrection - however it also made me think about Dahlias. 😬
Tubers to most might look dead - however it’s quite the opposite 🥰

Spring break has officially started over here… ☀️
And of course, past bedtime - the kids grab flashlights and head outside to check for….
worms….
Because apparently that’s a top priority & entertainment around here these days 😆
Now I need to know….
What’s the first thing your kids )or you) go looking for when spring hits? 🌷☀️🩴

2020 → 2025
What started as a few rows…
a lot of guesswork…
and honestly, a space that was far from “pretty”…
turned into this.
There were crooked lines. (still are - we don't let Stacey measure out tposts anymore 😆)
Weeds we couldn’t keep up with.
Things that didn’t grow.
Things we thought we ruined.
But we kept showing up anyway.
Little by little, season by season — it started to come together.
Not because it was perfect… but because we started.
If you’re in that beginning stage right now —
where it feels messy, overwhelming, or not quite what you pictured…
this is your reminder:
→ it doesn’t have to be perfect to be worth starting
→ it doesn’t have to be pretty to become something beautiful
Just start.
Keep going.
The glow up comes later
