The Jenison Innovation Academy Class of 2026 has continued to demonstrate what’s possible through personalized learning, flexibility, and a commitment to pursuing opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. From earning college credits and industry experience to achieving academic honors and preparing for future careers, this graduating class has left a lasting mark on the greater JIA community.

JIA is incredibly proud to celebrate Jacob, Whyatt, and Betsy for the dedication, work ethic, and commitment they’ve shown through their experiences at the West Michigan Construction Institute.

Their willingness to challenge themselves, pursue hands-on learning opportunities, and build real-world skills is such a great example of the passion and perseverance we love seeing from our students. We’re excited to see all that’s ahead for each of them and grateful to celebrate this well-deserved recognition alongside the students from Jenison High School.

💚🐾 As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, Jenison Innovation Academy is proud to recognize the faculty and staff members who help make our community such a special place to learn and grow.

Their dedication, flexibility, and commitment to students is seen in both the big moments and the everyday interactions that help strengthen the JIA community and support student success.

A small act of kindness can make a big difference. 💚

Throughout the month of April, JIA’s Student Leadership Team organized a Stuffed Animal Drive to support children and families receiving care at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our students and families, more than 75 stuffed animals were collected and donated! 🧸✨ These cuddly companions will help bring comfort, smiles, and encouragement to children during challenging moments.

We are so proud of our JIA community for demonstrating compassion, leadership, and the power of giving back. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this project a success!

Special shoutout to Jenison Innovation Academy student Lily Reason for being selected to perform in the All-State Honors Choir! She is among the top students in Michigan that were chosen to participate. The choir will perform May 7-9 at Michigan State University. Good luck, Lily!
