This bee mural is going to celebrate not only bees but our hive right here that we all live in too!

Congratulations to Roger Aegerter and Leah Thompson on each one having not one but two of their paintings selected to be on display at the Iowa State Fair this year!
Roger's are the two on the left and the other two on the right are Leah's.
If you go to the Fair this week, you will find these works of art in the Cultural building on the third floor south.

The votes were counted and the winner of this year's People's Choice Award is Once Upon a Time, the bronze sculpture by artist Sondra Jonson.
The sculpture will remain on the plaza reading her book until May 2027! Sondra will receive an extra $500 from Tower View Team for winning!
Thanks to all of you that voted!
Perhaps some book clubs would like to join this little girl sometime.....take your lawn chairs and have a read-in downtown this fall!

Summer isn't over yet -- come and see the roof top art in Jefferson!

You can't see this art anywhere else but in the observation deck of the Mahanay Bell Tower. So unique and so fun to think of other ideas. Enjoy the day in Jefferson and visit the Mahanay Bell Tower from 10 am - 4 pm.

Voting ends this Saturday!
The winning sculpture will remain in Jefferson until next May.
