On May 20th, the JVHS faculty, staff, and administration came together to shower Ms. Debbie with the deepest appreciation for her incredible years of service to our school, our staff, and our students.
To celebrate the absolute legend that she is, we threw her a popcorn-themed party! 🎈 It was only fitting, considering she is famous across campus for her amazing popcorn-making skills and for always greeting our students with a warm smile and a fresh treat the moment they stepped foot on campus.
Ms. Debbie has been the ultimate team player—the kind of person who would step in to cover a class at a moment’s notice without a single complaint. But more than that, she was the heart of JVHS. She had a rare gift for making every single student feel supported, safe, and truly seen. No matter what was needed, she helped in every possible way, making everyone around her feel safe, warm, and deeply loved.
Ms. Debbie, you are irreplaceable, and you will be missed more than words can say. Thank you for making JVHS a brighter, better place for all of us. Enjoy every single moment of your well-deserved retirement!

Last Friday, held "Test Fest" to celebrate the end of school testing and the school year. Our enjoyed good food, games, music, karaoke, and more. HUGE THANKS to our amazing student council and stuco sponsor, Ms. Erica Gauthreaux, for working hard to plan amazing events for our students this school year!
Our are so talented! Sophomore, Andrew Kirby, beautifully performed the national anthem at last Friday's 2026 graduation.

Even though was established in 2021, we had multiple siblings join their older siblings as proud graduates.
Taj Murray joined his brother, grad Jordan Murray, as a alum. Like her sister, grad Destiny Washington, Danielle Washington graduated as this year, and along with their sister, valedictorian Gabrielle Glapion, Alyssa and Mikayla Glapion became members of our growing alumni.
