Jefferson Tree Committee
The Jefferson Tree Committee is a part of the Community Betterment Foundation, a non-profit that seeks to beautify our town of Jefferson, IA.
We are volunteer-led, and work with city departments to coordinate tree planting & maintenance in public areas.

Peoples Bank donated water and granola bars and Greene County eighth graders helped the Tree Committee plant 5/1 on Chestnut and Wilson.

The Tree Committee spring planting got postponed, but volunteers replaced some trees 4/24 at the dog part and southeast Jefferson. We even have new vests to identify us. Stay tuned to learn about our huge planting in May!
