For years, Ray Lowman has been one of the quiet forces behind the scenes of our sport. As one of the founders of MadDogs, he's organized, judged, and run countless events — giving competitors a place to compete and grow, and welcoming new members into the sport. He's been a trusted advisor in shaping our rules, and a steady consultant and confidant behind the scenes year-round. When it comes to the World Championship, Ray has been instrumental in rallying the club and its volunteers, year after year, to make it happen.

His dedication has shaped this community in ways that go far beyond any single event.

Last night, in recognition of his years of service — and with a whole lot of love from all of us — we proudly renamed this trophy in his honor.
