GENERAL LABORER

Tennessee Galvanizing has IMMEDIATE openings for general laborers. These positions are full time, cover all shifts, and primarily require working outdoors - exposed to all weather conditions. Starting pay is $11.00/hour with an increase to $12.00/hour after 90-days.

Physical Requirements

* The ability to regularly lift up to 40 pounds
* The ability to regularly climb ladders
* Flexibility to bend, kneel and squat repeatedly during shift
* The ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift

Welcome to the Zinc Saves Kids initiative website 450,000 children are at risk of dying every year due to the impact of zinc deficiency on diarrhea, pneumonia and other infectious diseases.

Since its creation in 2000, the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) have saved the lives of millions and improved conditions for many more due to concerted global, regional, national and local efforts. While gaps do remain, the MDG experience has demonstrated what can be achieved with adequate resources, sound strategies and political will.
