And my placket is done. I continued on with my stitching almost like quilting, to secure all layers. I will still anchor the slit with something like a bar tack. The heavy duty placket and bar tack bottom is how the shirts at Colonian Williamsburg are done, and I think they look pretty good. This shirt is coming along nicely, with only a little drunk monkey stitching and no blood spilled. Yet.
