✨Such an honor and what an enlightening weekend at the BPA Housing and Innovation Summit! We dove deep into the vital discussions on housing and development, particularly in East Austin, with an exceptional lineup of experts and leaders.

🔥 Highlight of the day: Our keynote fireside chat with Hon. Council Member Kimberly Holiday of Pflugerville and the Hon. Chris Harvey, Mayor of Manor. Their insights were invaluable and set the stage for a day filled with meaningful conversation.

🏗️ We had the pleasure of hearing from Greg Smith of the Austin Revitalization Authority, who shared a rich history of housing development in East Austin.

🤝 Exciting Announcement: We’re thrilled to partner with Foundation Communities on a groundbreaking 3D printing project with their students. Stay tuned for more on this innovative endeavor!

🎤 Our guest moderator, Julia LaShay, led a fantastic panel featuring some of Austin’s top housing experts: Awais Azhar, Dr. Lewa Owolabi, Billy Whipple, and Sabrina Butler.

Such a Blessing to see the Beautiful age of 37..

🎉🎂 Blessed to see 37 today! As I reflect on this milestone, I’m reminded of the wisdom found in the thirty-seventh Psalm, penned by King David. It encourages us to trust in God’s judgment and provision, reminding us not to fret over evildoers but to delight ourselves in the Lord, knowing He will grant the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:1-2, 4).

As I embark on another year of life’s journey, I’m grateful for the lessons of the past and excited for the adventures ahead. Here’s to embracing the blessings of each day with a heart full of gratitude and faith! 🙏✨

It was an honor joining leading policymakers, practitioners, advocates, and community members to share ideas and discuss current fair housing issues. 🏠

The two day conference included a tour of the Colony Park Sustainable Community and a full day of panel discussions concluding with a Housing Resource Hub of helpful community support services.

This conference aims to bring together stakeholders, advocates, policymakers, and community members to collaborate, share knowledge, and explore solutions to pressing housing challenges.
