Jenna Malone witnessed it firsthand while supporting her veteran husband through his recovery. By seeking support for herself, she learned that caring for a loved one also means caring for your own mental health.

Veteran Garrett Seifert was told after a traumatic brain injury that he may never walk again.

His father, retired Army Master Sergeant Bob Seifert, never left his side. This year, that journey reached a powerful milestone when the father-son duo rode side by side during Soldier Ride 250, traveling from Norfolk, VA to Washington, D.C. alongside other warriors.

Navy veteran Ysabel Cardona brought depression, anxiety, and PTSD home after service. But both her military and family backgrounds taught her to push through rather than ask for help. It took 16 years before she was ready to reach out, and the newfound freedom she found on the other side changed everything.
